Embossing is the process of creating raised and textured designs in materials such as paper and cardstock, while debossing pushes the material downwards to create a 'sunken' effect. Our 3D Embossing Folders combine both techniques to deliver a captivating 3D effect.

Using these folders is easy. Start by placing your chosen paper or cardstock inside the folder. For best results when using cardstock, lightly spray the material with water before inserting it. This will help create an even deeper impression. Next, place the folder on top of your first cutting pad and complete the sandwich with your second cutting pad. With a single roll through your die-cutting machine, your 3D design will be revealed. Note that an Adapter Platform (658992) will be required when using embossing folders with any of our Sizzix Big Shot machines. Simply place this under the sandwich you've created, and you're ready to go.
